Hi, I’m Deborah Duarte. I created this space to share the raw, real, and often unpredictable journey of living with Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) and arthrogryposis.
For years, my husband and I built a business together, and I poured my energy into our shared dream. But life had other plans. After enduring multiple surgeries and the daily challenges that come with chronic illness, I made the difficult decision to step away from the business. In that shift, I was given one of life’s greatest gifts — the opportunity to raise our four incredible boys.
This blog isn’t just about medical conditions; it’s about resilience, faith, grief, growth, and everything in between. It’s about finding purpose in the struggle and sharing stories that might help someone else feel less alone.
