Some days are just really hard. We carry so much—our responsibilities, our health, our emotions—and sometimes it feels like it’s all stacked a little too high.
On top of managing my own auto-inflammatory condition, today I had to take my son to urgent care. He’s been struggling since breaking his fibula about six weeks ago. For an athlete, that’s not just physically painful—it’s emotionally heavy, too. His anxiety has been building, and as a parent, seeing your child suffer in any way is heartbreaking.
I try to stay positive. I try to stay strong. But the truth is, it’s not always easy. Sometimes sadness creeps in. Sometimes the weight of it all feels like too much. And if you feel that way too—please know, you’re not alone.
We’re all walking through something. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, I see you. If you’re trying to be strong for others while holding it together for yourself, I see you too.
Let’s give ourselves grace. Let’s give each other space to feel, to be real, and to support one another.
We’re in this together. 💛
