Someday Sundays are just fine, right? Even if I go a week (or two!) without posting, it doesn’t mean nothing’s happening—it just means life has been rolling along.

About two weeks ago, we got back from vacation up in Cape Vincent, NY, and oh my gosh—it was so much fun. The kids went fishing with my dad’s friends and had the best time. Miguel and I just hung out, explored a little, and honestly didn’t do much at all… which was exactly what we needed.

Labor Day weekend was super chill. I think our pool days are officially done now, which is kind of bittersweet… but I’m not mad about it because it means one thing—FOOTBALL SEASON! I love the fall. The cool, crisp air, my boots coming out of the closet, and just that cozy feeling everywhere. Honestly, I feel my best this time of year.

The boys have already had their first two games and did so well. It’s extra special this year because they’re finally on varsity together. Michael hasn’t been able to play yet since he’s still hurting, but the hope is he’ll be back out there within the next two weeks. I can’t wait to see both of them on the field together—it’s going to be such a proud mom moment. (And yes, pictures are definitely coming!)

And speaking of milestones—Michael also started driving. WHAT?! I swear, I spent years complaining about being their personal Uber driver, and now suddenly I don’t have to pick them up from football practice. The first time it happened, I didn’t even know what to do with myself. It’s so exciting but also a little nerve-wracking, because at the end of the day, you just want your kids to be safe. They may look like grown men, but to me, they’re still my little boys.

On the health side, I’ve actually been feeling pretty good lately. September is Autoinflammatory Awareness Month, and I’m really looking forward to doing a podcast with another FMFer. I love sharing my story—it makes me feel like maybe I can help someone else who’s still waiting for answers.

So yeah, even if I’ve been quiet, life has been full in all the best ways. 💛 How was your week? Tell me in the comments—I really do love hearing from you!

Here’s to more Someday Sundays—little check-ins, a chance to breathe, and a reminder that even if the weeks fly by, there’s always something worth sharing.
