Sometimes I sit back and think about the world we live in — how chaotic, divided, and unpredictable it’s become. People seem to have forgotten how to care for one another, how to listen, and how to be kind. I find myself wishing we could tear it all down and start fresh — build a government and a country rooted in compassion, common sense, and unity again.
But then, I look around me.
I see my boys out there, playing their hearts out on the field with such drive and charisma. I watch my husband — the hardest-working man I know — doing whatever it takes to keep food on our table and a roof over our heads. And I realize that this… this is what keeps me going.
My family is my reason. They’re my strength when life feels heavy. Even through my own daily struggles — with my health, my body, and the challenges that come with running our business — I keep pushing forward because of them.
We may not have a mansion, but when I look around our home, I see everything I ever dreamed of. A one-story house with a tree-lined street where my boys could play safely. Little streetlights glowing at night. No ugly electric poles in front of our lawn. Every detail was on my wish list — and somehow, here we are. Blessed.
Twenty years in business, countless lessons learned, and now our sons are stepping up to be part of what we built. Sure, times are tough right now — but we’ve been through tough before, and we’ll get through this too.
Everyone is fighting something — whether it’s health, finances, or mental battles we don’t talk about. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned through it all, it’s this: be kind.
Just because we don’t agree politically doesn’t mean we have to hate each other. It doesn’t make one person good and the other bad. We need to find our way back — to being Americans, to being human.
This world might feel crazy sometimes, but there’s still so much beauty to hold onto — especially in the people who love you most. ❤️
